Later writings attempted to record fragments of that structure: the circle, the command, the naming, the dismissal. The Segulat preserves the underlying framework that holds those elements together. What you hold now is built from that same pattern. It follows the same logic of boundary and exchange.

They come from a structured system that claims a much older origin. That system is the Segulat. Everything here descends from it. Nothing here stands alone.

The Segulat records this structure in detail. The Book of Infernal Contact identifies the entities that move within each function and the manner in which they respond when properly addressed.
This volume, the Book of Infernal Rituals, sets down methods, likely outcomes, and known consequences. Lastly, the Book of Infernal Records follows the Segulat from Solomon’s time to the present day, tracing its passage and the marks it left on households, rulers, and events. These books are not separate curiosities. They are one system seen from different angles.

The biblical texts do not explain the method the way the Segulat does. They do not describe the chalk lines on the floor or the wording of dismissal. But they record something more important: outcome. They speak of spirits compelled to service. They speak of works completed beyond normal human capacity. They speak of knowledge given that was not gained through study. The record is brief, but it is clear. It does not treat these things as metaphor. It presents them as events.

Over time, fragments of this structure survived in later writings, including what is now called the Lesser Key traditions. These later texts preserve pieces of the form: names, seals, commands, fragments of the circle. But they read like copies made without full understanding. The structure is there, but the full system is not. What survives in those texts resembles a shadow of something more complete.

The Segulat is presented as the primary record. It does not depend on later texts for its shape. Where those later grimoires show familiar pieces, they read as degraded survivals—copied without the full rule-set that gives the pieces their meaning. It sets the limits. It defines the functions. It describes what may be commanded, and what must never be attempted. Where the later grimoires show fragments, the Segulat shows framework.

This book assumes that framework is real. It does not try to defend it. It works from it.
